Congratulations to Anna Li for being selected for the 2011 World Team. The World Championships will be held Oct. 7-16, 2011 in
Tokyo,
Japan.
Congratuations Bridgey Caquatto for being selected for the Pan Am Games which are being held Oct. 24-29 in

Mexico.

The 2011 Visa Championships, USA Gymnastics' national championships, are Aug. 17-20 in Saint Paul, Minn. The U.S. champions for women's artistic gymnastics are determined at the Visa Championships, as well as the national teams. Legacy Elite Gymnasts to Compete in CoverGirl Classic
The CoverGirl Classic, USA Gymnastic's final competition leading up to Visa Championships is being held at UIC this weeked. Legacy Elite Gymnastics will feature 4 gymnasts in the competition. Competing in the Senior Division is national team members and sisters Bridgette and Mackenzie Caquatto. Mackenzie is a 2010 World Championships Team silver-medalist and Bridgey recently competed in Italy for Team USA and won the Gold Medal for Uneven Bars. Also competing in the Senior Division is Anna Li, a member of UCLA's 2010 NCAA champion team. Competing on Sunday in the Hopes division is Wesley Stephenson. Good Luck Girls!!
Congratulations to Amanda Wellick Region 5 All Star
Amanda was selected for the second year in a row for the Region 5 All Star Team. She will travel with the team to Brazil in November. Way to go Amanda!
Congratulations to the Legacy Elite Girls Team for an Awesome 2011 Year! 37 State Champions; 13 Regional Champions; 11 Level 9-10 National Qualifiers; 5 Nationals Champions and 7 second places at Nationals. In addition 2 National TOPS Team Members; 2 National Elite Team Members; 1 World Silver Medalist; 1 Gold Medal in International Competition and 3 girls vying for spots on this year’s World Team. Quite an accomplishment for a gym that opened its doors just over a year ago! Congratulations to all the girls for a FANTASTIC first season!
